The aims of the S.W.R.I have always been to bring home skills, knowledge to all women in the community.
Nowadays it is more fun and friendship with the added bonus of being able to join in with any of the specialized craft or cookery courses available through the Berwickshire Federation.
In Oxton we try to bring a variety of subjects to our monthly meetings. Hopefully we provide something for everyone to enjoy.
